Preparation Method

1. Preheat the oven and prepare the pan
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 21 cm (8-inch) bundt pan, or line a regular cake pan with parchment paper if preferred.

2. Prepare the base mixture
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar using a whisk or electric mixer until the mixture becomes light, fluffy, and pale in color. This step helps make the cake soft and airy.

3. Add the liquid ingredients
Pour in the vegetable oil and milk, mixing continuously. Then add the lemon zest and lemon juice, stirring well to distribute the fresh citrus flavor throughout the batter.

4. Incorporate the flour and baking powder
Sift together the flour and baking powder, then gradually add them to the wet mixture. Stir gently until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.

5. Bake the cake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Cool and decorate
Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before removing it carefully. Once cooled, dust the top generously with powdered sugar before serving.
