1️⃣ Preheat the Oven

Wash and scrub potatoes thoroughly.

Poke each potato 4–5 times with a fork.
3️⃣ Season for Crispy Skin

Rub each potato with olive oil.

Sprinkle generously with coarse salt and black pepper.
4️⃣ Bake

Place directly on oven rack or on a baking sheet.

Bake for 45–60 minutes, depending on size.

Potatoes are done when fork-tender inside.
5️⃣ Fluff & Finish

Slice open immediately while hot.

Gently squeeze ends to fluff interior.

Add butter so it melts into the potato.

Sprinkle with green onions, pepper, and desired toppings.
