1. Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
2. Prepare the Batter
Add the melted butter, egg, and milk. Whisk until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Let the batter rest for about 5 minutesβthis helps create fluffier pancakes.
3. Heat the Pan
Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Lightly coat it with cooking spray or butter.
4. Cook the Pancakes
Pour about ΒΌ cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot skillet.
Cook for 2β3 minutes, until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges start to set.
5. Flip and Finish
Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1β2 minutes, until golden brown.
