Light Apple Cake – No Sugar, No Flour, Only 3 Main Ingredients

Preparation Method

1. Prepare the apples
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Peel the apples, remove the cores, and slice them thinly. Place the slices in a bowl and drizzle them with lemon juice to prevent oxidation.

2. Prepare the batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, yogurt, and egg. Mix well using a whisk or spoon until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

3. Add the apples
Add the sliced apples to the bowl and gently mix them into the batter so they are evenly coated.

4. Flavor the mixture
Sprinkle in ground cinnamon to taste. If desired, add raisins or dried blueberries for extra texture and natural sweetness.

5. Assemble the cake
Line a baking pan with parchment paper and pour the apple mixture into the pan. Spread it evenly with a spatula.

6. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the cake is lightly golden on top and set in the center.

7. Cool and serve
Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan. Slice and serve as a light dessert, healthy snack, or nutritious breakfast.
