Step 4: Assemble the Pot Pie

Roll out one pie crust and press it gently into your prepared pie dish—trim any excess.

Pour the brisket mixture into the crust and spread evenly.

Top with second crust:

  • Cover the top with a full crust or lattice design
  • Press edges to seal and crimp with a fork or fingers
  • Cut small slits in the top to allow steam to escape

Step 5: Bake Until Golden & Bubbly

Place the pie on a baking sheet (to catch any spills) and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35–40 minutes , or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling through the vents.

Let rest for 10–15 minutes —this helps the pie set and makes slicing easier.
