🍮 2. Vanilla Pastry Cream (Filling)
Ingredients:

2 cups (480 ml) whole milk

½ cup (100 g) sugar

4 egg yolks

3 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Heat milk until steaming.

In bowl, whisk yolks, sugar, and cornstarch.

Slowly pour warm milk into egg mixture while whisking.

Return to saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring, until thick.

Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla.

Cover with plastic touching surface. Chill completely.
