Prepare the dates
If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain well.
Blend the base
In a food processor, add the dates, pecans, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Blend until the mixture becomes sticky and forms a dough-like consistency.
Adjust texture
If the mixture is too thick, add a little water (1 tablespoon at a time).
If too soft, add oats to firm it up.
Shape into balls
Scoop out small portions and roll into bite-sized balls using your hands.
Add garnish
Press a pecan half gently on top of each ball for decoration.
Optional glaze (for shiny finish)
Lightly drizzle with honey or date syrup for that glossy look seen in the image.
Chill
Place the balls in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
